well it's one of those days where I have to do everything at the same time, I got the server holding itself together so I can run go fix another problem anything you post in the next hour or so may be lost so keep that in mind if you want to preach about something :mrgreen:

uhh yeah the server board appears to be dying so I need to figure this out fast. I've went though 4 new drives and 6 OS restores and when I slam the load to it to see if it's stable it goes into a shit fit and crashes after a few minutes at max load.
We are now running on the old hard drive which seems to be fine, now I'm sitting here staring at a soon to be $1400 door stop.
I'm going to go ponder how to get out of this mess now
PS the backups are failing due to these problems my last good backup was from around 5pm EST today so don't post anything important, I'll keep dumping the database for the forum every hour so anything you do post will probably get saved anyway but be warned the server is on it's last leg.
It's run almost non stop for the past 2 years so I give it a thumbs up for serving us this long, it's reaching it's end of life and needs to be changed out but I only saved one of these servers from my business so I'm kinda fukked...
It's kinda like losing a best friend :cry:

Yeah sorta, I'll still have all the data/posts/files it just won't be online.
I'm looking for a replacement mainboard for this model server right now, I spent all my fukkin money going to helicopter competitions and getting heli parts so now I've got myself into a jam...I'm on hold with a company right now that has replacement boards, the guy has just gone to look to see if they have this model anymore.
no boards for this server or the other models close to it...
