    Australia

Isn't it true that England sent criminals to Australia to live after being found guilty of something in England. I mean the whole freakin country is nothing but criminals at one point, right?? Or did some English actually settle there as well....?

they did indeed but convict in those times was different to now.. they could be sent to australia (any australian is literally gonna cringe at this cliche) "for stealing a loaf of bread to feed their family" plus after this the authorities looking after the convicts stayed here as well but british settlers soon followed, then many irish and scottish and in this century many migrants from Italy,Greece,Lebanon, to put it into perspective, i dont know anyone decended directly from an australian convict.

Some of the Aussies I worked with at AC used to joke that they all came from convicts or were aboriginal. Or was that the Kiwi of the group calling them that?......

You should have been here during the Mariel Boat Lift exodus.

What an expulsion of crazy criminals!

    so much fun
    so little space

Big freaking deal, we get crazy immigrants all the time anyhow.

Good thing I know how to fight.
