I Second. I loved the way that movie was filmed. It was a very different character for Jim Carrey, too.

I never saw this post. And I didn't hear about the movie until it was on DVD and my sister bought it (I don't keep up with movies at all). I loved it too. Now I want to watch it, but I'll have to hold off until Friday.

I always cry. I just find it very honest and easy to relate to. And it's the first time I was able to take Jim Carrey seriously, and I realized how GOOD he was. He was very believable in a dramatic role, and in a romantic one at that. Anyway, it's beautiful. I could watch it again and again.

    Boy, that's one serious bump.
I'm one of those people who hates Jim Carrey with a passion, but I have to admit that when I see him in dramatic roles, I find him both believable and likable. I want to see that 23 movie. What's it called?

    I think it's called 23, or The Number 23.

I really want to see that, too. I'm liking him more and more. He should do fewer comedies. Except Me Myself and Irene. I loved that.

so you guys are saying you didn't like "The Grinch" or "A Series of Unfortunate Events?" I can't think of a better person to play either the role of the Grinch or Count Olaf.

there we go, just right. keep walking...

The Grinch sucked, didn't see the other one.

Jim Carrey is the modern day Jerry Lewis. Never much cared for Jerry Lewis either.

Never saw the Grinch... didn't really look forward to it (I really like the cartoon version). I thought A Series of Unfortunate Events was alright.

Oh, come on people! Ace Ventura? Liar, Liar? Ace Ventura II? And my favorite comedy of all time, Dumb and Dumber? Those were seriously funny movies and most of the funny came from Jim Carrey.

And if you like him in serious movies, he was good in The Truman Show too.
I just don't end up where think I'm going when I start out.

Coz, as a matter of fact, I only find Jerry Lewis 1/4 funny (I'm 1/4 french). But seriously, no, I don't think he's funny. Though I can kinda see why you'd say they are similar.

And yes Hero, Liar, Liar was funny, and Pauly Shore was kinda funny in Son-In-Law and Encino Man. "Weeze the ju----uice!"

I never said they were smart-funny, just that they were funny, so
I just don't end up where think I'm going when I start out.
