I just got the U-MYX cd of Rihanna's Pon de Replay - Awesome! It seems like a tagged multi-track project saved so that you can affect volume and "on/off" of each of the track parts. Neat way to customize the song yourself. I don't see a way to make a remix longer, or to switch things around, but it lets you make your own mix of sorts.

I wonder what it takes for a band to put out a song in u-myx format? More specifically, I wonder what the possibilities are that PM Dawn would put out a track like this. Several bands have put one out - check out http://www.u-myx.com/ for more info. I would love to see a few of the old PM Dawn tracks in u-myx format...

I entered a contest for doing a paul mccartney remix of samples from every song on Chaos and Creation.. I had a good time with it.. felt like mine was something to be checked out.. they are still deciding on who wins overall..
