man.. that's some fucked up shit
you should try sampling stuff just as a change of pace, its fun to compose things with the different instruments in reason, but its cool to also scavenge old songs for catchy bits and then try to make something new out of them. though you'd need some kind of basic wav editor to edit samples... let me know if you dont have one & you'd like one, i can hook you up.
can u use samples in reason.. how so?
I've got amnesia.. I can't remember..
eh.. you load them into the sampler time to read through the help file :P
what file type do they need to be though?

wav files are the standard, or aiff if you're on a mac. you can also load some other special sorts of files, like soundfont format files and rex files (files edited and exported with the ReCycle program).
of course you can also load patches, like full sample sets, etc. you can even load akai samples if you have akai sample cds, though you need a little convertor tool.
That's some really special hi-grade stuff you guys must be tokin' down there in Oz Tim!
When I listen to those beatz the horsedogs become more understandable!
Alright
Tap the lightpole and we'll be jammin all night
And ain't nobody callin' the cops
'Cause everybody's here freakin', if they're older they're doin the rock
And every block from all around
Comes runnin' to the park when they hear the sound
And soon the word's spreadin' through our part of town
"Yo, 40 Park y'all, Jam-On's gettin down"
Yeah...
