Bloom County is an excellent strip, 6. I first saw that during my undergrad days, so whenever I see that strip, it reminds me of my school days.

I like all the classic favorites: Beetle Bailey, Hagaar, Dagwood, Family Circus, Shoe, and Marmaduke. But my all time favorite one that I grew up on PEANUTS! I can't tell you how crushed I was when Charles Schulz died. No more new peanuts movies for us, and that's sad. That strip is such an American Icon. Newer strips like Sally Forth (or Worth?), Calvin and Hobbes, and Dilbert are really good too.

I have to agree Louis...PEANUTS is an all-time classic! Also like Beetle Bailey.

Loved Calvin and Hobbs. Also was a big Bloom County fan as well as a gigantic Garfield fan.

Lately i've been reading Get Fuzzy a lot as well. Some good stuff....
I do not suppose I shall be remembered for anything. But I don't think about my work in those terms. It is just as vulgar to work for the sake of posterity as to work for the sake of money.

I like a few more that don't appear in newspapers, but I'm trying to stay on topic. :dunno:
