In less than 3 months, Ben will drop his 2nd (technically) solo album.

Rock'n the suburbs is a masterpiece.

best ben fold records: Everything he's put his hands on.. but my favorites are...

    Whatever and ever
    Unauthorized biography...
    Rockn' the suburbs
    Speed Graphic
    Super D
    Fear of Pop volume 1

That's pretty close to my order too:

    Whatever and Ever
    Unauthorized Biography
    Ben Folds Five
    Fear of Pop
    Rockin' the Suburbs
I just don't end up where think I'm going when I start out.

Naw, I got Speed Graphic and Sunny 16, but I haven't gotten Super D. It's that good huh? Maybe I'll have to pick it up, but he said something about a lot of the songs from the EPs being on the LP.

hmm Give Judy My Notice is on the new album. its redone though..

I dont believe much from Super D is gonna be on the new album.. MAYBE Rent A Cop.. but not much else..

    YOU NEED THIS

GEt Your Hands Off My Woman is a brilliant piece of work.. Possibly one of his best piano moments..

totally agree with you. His talent is far beyond most in his genre. I've heard some live recordings of him playing bass and he is simply amazing.. and considering he did every instrument on Rock'n and most of the EP's... im very impressed.

His piano skills are above and beyond.. one of the most aggressive pianist i've seen play. Definantly knows his keys. I play piano by ear and its interesting to watch him and play his music.

Thats some SERIOUS playing on Get Your Hands Off Of My Woman... incredibly tough at that speed.

http://www.attackedbyplastic.com/ There are some samples there.. but the sample of Get Your Hands doesnt even begin to let you hear his skills.. that song rocks.

Just picked up his first album used and didn't realize how really great it is! (should've realized)

Still have to pick up Super D.....too much music out there i wanna get!
I do not suppose I shall be remembered for anything. But I don't think about my work in those terms. It is just as vulgar to work for the sake of posterity as to work for the sake of money.
