The article mentions that someone is even trying to make a Pac-Man movie. What are they smoking in Hollywood?
Could these be coming soon?

Steven Spielberg said that he has loved the Transformers since they came out twenty years ago. If he really loves them, he won't touch Soundwave. If he wants to update him, just turn him into a boombox-- people still use those things, and I really don't need to see Blaster.
Optimus Prime, and Soundwave are really the only ones who I couldn't stand to see drastically changed.
I'd like to see a few of the Autobots changed a bit: Prowl might look nice as a 350Z, and Brawn has got to be a Hummer. Perfect for the character, and these days, when I see a Land Rover, I see people who will only go offroad if they drank too many mimosas. Mirage should be an Aston Martin; he was supposedly an aristocrat, and a Formula 1 racer is not exactly luxurious.
Wheeljack can be anything, as long as he's in the movie, and his head is the same. Love those ears...
How much d'ya wanna bet that those idiots in Hollywood are gonna make Jazz transform into an Escalade, just for a cheap laugh? Betcha five dollars to a dime... voiced by Will Smith.

im sure if its there at all.. it will be short.. just so it doesnt appear that robots from another planet for no reason resemble vehicles from here
forgot to mention.. voltron .. they are doing that movie too.. as long as its more in line with the cartoon than the 90's cgi version.. should be fun

Of course, the fact that they are living robots who speak English, and communicate vocally at all, doesn't require any suspension of disbelief...Originally Posted by ETHERSPIN
I'd much rather see a Shogun Warriors movie; I liked them much more than Voltron. I always wanted a Dangard Ace toy when I was a kid, but I didn't get one. Maybe when I have kids, I'll buy one and try to play it off like it's for them.forgot to mention.. voltron .. they are doing that movie too.. as long as its more in line with the cartoon than the 90's cgi version.. should be fun
I wonder if the Japanese really feel that building giant robots with giant swords would be a good way to defend Earth from alien invasion...
