I thought you were a vegan Atma? Guess I remember wrong. :donno:
    Alright
Tap the lightpole and we'll be jammin all night
And ain't nobody callin' the cops
'Cause everybody's here freakin', if they're older they're doin the rock
And every block from all around
Comes runnin' to the park when they hear the sound
And soon the word's spreadin' through our part of town
    "Yo, 40 Park y'all, Jam-On's gettin down"
    Yeah...

I am totally against the stereotypical notions towards Thanksgiving, but love the modernization and family-oriented vibe which this day now holds for me. When I celebrate it, it is not for the slaying of certain peoples, but definitely the opportunity to give thanks for what is.

(I've reformed Christmas and Easter and the 4th of July to my liking as well. I guess I want to take the positive things from the culture I was raised in and pass them on...?)

Trust me, anyone who wants to mess around with Native American culture can go through me. I got blasted all through school for criticizing the actions of the white man to the natives. By teachers even-- not just my peers. Southern school systems? rant rant rant...

but yeah. eating with family and being thankful is good.

and Atma--- oh my god, I am so with you on the Quorn!!!! Only I didn't get any this year, they were sold out.

    love yas all

I take Elizabeths approach, not look negatively at any holiday - take it for what positivity I see in it. That goes with all of the holidays. Sure, injustices have occurred and that sucks, but I didn't do them. I am just trying to enjoy some turkey, and next month enjoy some presents. All that other stuff doesn't mean too much to me.

    Happy belated b-day Chris
