    Alright
Tap the lightpole and we'll be jammin all night
And ain't nobody callin' the cops
'Cause everybody's here freakin', if they're older they're doin the rock
And every block from all around
Comes runnin' to the park when they hear the sound
And soon the word's spreadin' through our part of town
    "Yo, 40 Park y'all, Jam-On's gettin down"
    Yeah...

I read later that a scientist said it could have been "ball lightning" which is very very rare and as far as I know has never been captured on video or photographs. But from what I've read about ball lightning back in high school it can last a few minutes but no one has ever seen more than one "ball" It seems odd that the lights could have been moving and still kept their geometric positions like they did. Not say that the scientist is crazy or i'm a ufo freak but that just doesn't explain it well enough for me.

My back yard is about that big as well, maybe a little bigger, and we have a bigger big-toy as well (that's his neighbors yard anyways, not his families). You just live where everyone is on top of each other, Coz. Some of us have a little more space than your house simply because we don't live in the middle of the city...

It takes more than 2 1/2 hours to mow my lawn (front, back, and sides) with a push gas mower (ie not riding and not self-propelled) with a 22 inch blade. And there's this big copse of trees in the middle of the back yard as well. At least it's pretty flat.

there we go, just right. keep walking...

I'm very glad for you and your family that you have so much space Harm. Please don't take my comments to mean that I have never seen anything larger than a city backyard before, I was just trying to be funny.

Growing up I had some family in Long Island who I used to visit who's rear property included some woods. In Jamaica my Great Uncle owned part of a large hill overlooking Kingston...we could search out mongoose for hours and never leave his property. The house that he lived in was amazing...complete with a 6 car garage and armed security. I also have other relatives who own sizable lots of property in both Jamaica and Panama where I visited as a child. I may have LIVED in Brooklyn all of my life, but I HAVE been a few places. :blahblah:

I knew that. It was more like encouragement for you and yours to come to my bbq later on this year. There's a lot of open space for you to relax and take a load off.

I don't have *that* much space. Just enough for the dog to run around and the kids to play in. The only wildlife in my backyard are squirrels and wild rabbits (if the dog doesn't catch the rabbit first).

there we go, just right. keep walking...
