It just worked for me. I really didn't have anything, mostly cookies from doubleclick and stuff like that (thank goodness).
I had already gotten rid of most of the Gator stuff manually (way too many things install that piece of crap), but there was a hidden registry key that spybot found that I didn't know about.

hax, i had to switch from the symantec you sent me to mcafee because it got a virus and wasn't seeing crap or something. i dunno if it was that, but SOMEthing was wrong with it because mcafee found more stuff that symantec didn't.
