Thread: Update on Me mum

    If any of you read my Christmas post, you all might remembering me mentioning that my mother was ill. Well the sad part is that she was diagnosed with Graves' Disease which is a form of Hyperthyroidism This past thursday she went to the doctor and was given the radioiodine treatment. Instead of staying at the hospital, she came home and was quarantine in her room over the weekend. I wasn't allowed 3 to 4 feet near her. My sister came home to help out because she works with people with the same problem. The good news is my mom went back to work and so far she is doing fine. She has to go back for another checkup in the up and coming weeks. Thanks for your concern and your prayers.

    Yea, good 2 hear the good news with ur mom, Stan. :thumup: From the sounds of it, she's doing fyne...because she's embracing good health with a positive mindset, which is something I believe to be written within the universal game of life...and she knows how to play it... :wink:

    Your mother sounds like a strong surviver,...and im sure your're just as strong...
