I take it you didn't like it Tim. Please don't tell me about because I am going to see it this weekend. Let me be blindsided like normal.

Tap the lightpole and we'll be jammin all night
And ain't nobody callin' the cops
'Cause everybody's here freakin', if they're older they're doin the rock
And every block from all around
Comes runnin' to the park when they hear the sound
And soon the word's spreadin' through our part of town
    "Yo, 40 Park y'all, Jam-On's gettin down"

Hey, don't act all superior just cause you can still fit in your Klan uni. I mean, it's only an old bedsheet, who couldn't fit in that?

I beg to differ...even my rather large gullet could fit under a bedsheet. As a matter of fact, I still happen to look quite stunning in my 1972 Dashiki.

Jeez Harm...why you always runnin so scared, like somebody's gonna get pissed at your jokes or sumthin. You seem to think that I can't take a joke, or might do something to retaliate. What's up with that?

Screw the yankees and the redsox.

I'm a mariners fan. Although this year it's been tempting to change allegiance.

btw: I knew you knew that it was a joke, but messin' around with the Klan and black people when I'm white? I gotta watch my back.

Personally, I like being under a bedsheet. Mine are either green, or with flowers on them though.

I rather enjoy it when my wife is there too....

I thought this one was a hell of a lot better than the first one. The only good part to the first one was the beginning. The Green Goblin sucked as a villain. At least this one had a few good scenes. Not saying best movie ever or anything like that but still better than the first.

I rather liked it, personally. I also think it was better than the first. From a technical perspective the CG was cleaner and more believable. Doc Oc is pretty cool in and of himself. From a story-line point of view it was also cleaner, better written, and more fluid. There weren't as many oddly placed or funky lines.

    oh, and Aunt May rocks!

It was just okay. I personally think they gave away too much of his identity. Mary Jane knows him, the general public knows him, and his best friend knows him. That's moved the storyline pretty far down the comic book hasn't it? Tim, is that why you didn't care for it?

I totally agree with that, too many people know him now. They've kind of skirted a bit of spidey history. But it was still a pretty darn good movie.

I saw it last night, and I enjoyed it, but I do agree that way too many people know his identity now. I'm curious what type of angles they are going to go with in Spiderman 3...you know it's coming.
Don't let them change you inside, cause anyone who matters will try to understand who you are.

When you always stay in self-incarceration...I think it's such a shame.

I made a pilgrimage to save this human race, never comprehending the race was long gone by.

it was a lot, a lot better than i expected.

    random thoughts:

the first one, rubbed me the wrong way, being that the big climax was ripped straight from "the night gwen stacy died" and "the goblin's last stand", but with mj in place of gwen. it was alright tho.

i had no expectations for the second one. my wife dragged me to it unwillingly, but i guess if i was gonna see it, it might as well be on a big screen.

    random thoughts, continued

i hate, hate hate, how peter talks to mj, how he speaks extra slowly to her whenever he's trying to be serious. i understand he's trying to pick and choose his words very, very carefully, but damn, he comes off like a fukkin retard when he's around her.

    anyway

yes, too many people know his identity already. i won't count the people in the bus. well done, on that one. but doc ock, harry and mj already? ... i was a little disappointed in how they played the conversation between peter and mj after she saw that he was spider-man. i really hoped they'd play it like in the books. in the books (yeah, i know it's a hollywood movie, and not supposed to be totally accurate, but this would have been a nice touch) mary jane knew peter was spidey long before he revealed it to her. she saw him climbing out of his bedroom window in his costume one night. she revealed this to him years, years later in a fit of anger. but that's cool. no biggie really.
something about aunt may's speech rubbed me wrong. they tried a little, no, a lot too hard to make it sound like she knows he's spider-man. fine if they want to play it that way, but it was a bit forced. nice touch having dr. connor's only having one arm. i wonder if that will be a future plotline...

i'm glad they're bringing harry back as the goblin in the next one. i didn't think it would happen this soon. i wish they'd had gwen as a character in these movies. nice to see betty brant. nice to see they did their homework on jjj's son being an astronaut. why haven't they introduced ned leeds yet? how about felicia hardy in the next one? wouldn't that be the shit?

ugh, i could go on for days. overall it was better than the first one, but probably only cuz i'm sick of spidey's origin story.

    etc, etc etc5
