Just got to borrow the new Modest Mouse the other day and came away pretty impressed Chuk! Thought it was a pretty damn solid album all the way through. It even has some banjo in it!
If you guys have Targets down in Texas i've heard they've been having a sale on the cd......like 8.99 or something....a modest price to be sure! Bwahahahahaha! Oh Zing!!!
I do not suppose I shall be remembered for anything. But I don't think about my work in those terms. It is just as vulgar to work for the sake of posterity as to work for the sake of money.

Yeah man, Modest Mouse is really good. You should also check out their album "The Moon and Antarctica". That's got some really great songs on it. And yeah, they're mainstream now, but they've been semi-underground for prolly 8-10 years.
I just don't end up where think I'm going when I start out.
