Thread: The Dalai Lama

    The Dalai Lama

I just thought I'd pipe up and tell you all about an experience I had a couple of weeks ago. The Dalai Lama was in Tucson to speak and the owner of the company I work for is a big Buddhist. So he invited a small group of us to his house (which is also where we work) to meet the Dalai Lama. I was one of the people who got to greet him as he entered the house.

The first thing I noticed was that he seems like a soft spoken guy, but in person his voice kinda booms. Weird. If anyone is wondering what the Dalai Lama would do/be like if you had him in your house, I'll let you know: he'll feed half a poundcake to your dog. Seriously. That's what he did here. He got the biggest kick out of feeding poundcake to a pug; he just laughed and laughed.

There's a little bizarre insight for ya.

I would love them Ether, could you send them to me?

Yeah, the dalai lama is the best, he is the most giving person I have ever encountered... and because he is so giving he is also gets the most back - I truly envy him.
