I think I have the forum fixed where the new post icons work right now, so if you've read all the posts in a forum and you still see the blue icon showing new posts for that forum then you should clear your cookies.

I just tried to clear my cookies from the General Discussion page at the bottom, well I guess I did but it also logged me out at the same time. Is this normal, or what am I doing.

If you have it such that it remembers your password to automatically log you in every time you visit, and then delete your cookies, you will have to enter your username and password again; this is normal.
Because the sky is blue, it makes me cry...
