i joined this forum january 11 2002....i watched it flourish...i saw it get a lil dusty as well.....but i always took and still take comfort at the fact that its still here.......this board as always meant very much to me ....this is the place i ran to during my shitty days back in spring 2002.......everyone on here is different.....i mean for christsakes i grew up a gay athiest in new jersey.......i know what its like to have a "dif" opinion than everyone else in the room....but to me thats what was and still is the beauty of this board......the fact that we can learn different thoughts and opinions.,,and the reasons behind them through other people...my eyes have been opened up just a tad more to the world around me..because of the discussions that were on this board.....coz has meant more to me as an information source at times than a local library,,,,,i wish all of you could just step back and look at how dumb it is to take the point counterpoint thing so seriously.........these are just opinions and factoids ......its nice that you believe in what you believe but dont take it so personally that you want to split when somebody debates with you on said topics...heros remark was meant to say that i hate to see a human die even if the human is a piece of shit......unfortunately using hitler.....or any mass murderer for that matter is a bad idea......now im not going to kid you....i believe osama and saddam should be killed.....prefferably i would like to see them impaled....drac style.............now here is where im a hyprocrite.....and fuckin proud of it for that matter.....i believe that we were lied to and sent to iraq for the wrong reasons ...thats true......but i also believe in revenge.......i believe that every women man and child that were smashed away into the buildings of nyc should have their families paid back in the blood and rotting flesh of the alqueda soldiers who master minded this if they so choose....so im torn......i believe the soldiers should definetly be supported cuz we know they arent being supported well enough by government and there officers alone....theres an old army song "hanging on the old barbed wire...."its about how all the generals and colonels and rich army bastards are busy getting fat...while the middle class soldiers are the ones pushed out into the front lines waiting to be "next"..."hence the private is hanging on the old barbed wire"...i sadly at times feel this is true....the soldiers are being called killers and such while they have to in order to wipe another wave of terrorism off the face of the earth...and of course their commanding officers and generals are the ones getting all the recognition...
i coould be wrong......and thats where i leave it open to criticsm.......any of want to correct me but please have instances and occurences to correct me with!.....to i believe that war is wrong......yes
but those who want to fight for this country and destroy what they trulu is a threat to all freedom and democracy....we should give em our blessing....im not wiliing to die for this country......but some people will fight for what they truly believe in......and if they are dead set on it...you should just give em your blessings and tell them good luck....Dont look down on them for wanting to be a commando and kill .....they want to do it because(hopefully)they feel they want to make a change for the better in this country....and that fighting is the only way...whether its right or wrong....they believe in it,....at this point i think ive lost where this was going as im typing this after a hard days work.....ok rambling seguE....
anyway,,,,,,,,everybody has their own opinions thoughts and feelings.......currently im listening to chumbawamba,lou reed, anddavid bowie heavily,,,,,does this mean i love pm dawn any less,,,,hells no....no....they are and always be a big influence on me musically but thats the beauty of it...pm dawn is such a musically diverse group that a person listening to wamba and bowie could talk to a person who listens to prince and terence trent darby can talk to a person who listens to emfd and mack 10....and even though maybe 90% of our lifestyles,music influences and beliefs are different from each other.....theres always that 10% that we will always be able to nod at each other and say,,,,,yeah....i rather liked that one too.......
when i was in highschool i hated everyone in it and got ragged and bitched on constantly..this forum has opened my eyes that some people in fact ARE three dimensionsal....we have jocks,science nerds,mental patients,story book writers,lesbians,anime salesman,gays,goths,vegans,gothvegans,computer gods,...etc etc...and yet i can still have conversations with practically all of you and you are all very cordial and intuitive....i wouldnt trade the last two years of my life for anything but the experiences i have had on and because of this forum
HAX....i will miss you even though i never talked to you as much as i should have,.....i hope your departure is not permanent....

COZ......thank you so much for the last two years....please never leave here .....you are so much more vital and important here than anybody could ever know....ive learned so much ....even about the origin of sunday :thumup: ..and for your family being so cool too.....
