Alright
Tap the lightpole and we'll be jammin all night
And ain't nobody callin' the cops
'Cause everybody's here freakin', if they're older they're doin the rock
And every block from all around
Comes runnin' to the park when they hear the sound
And soon the word's spreadin' through our part of town
"Yo, 40 Park y'all, Jam-On's gettin down"

No official word but it's not looking good, he's definitely had a heart attack it seems. You know how shit spreads around the net though!

But I being poor have only my dreams. I have laid my dreams beneath your feet. Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
I just heard it's official on BBC news, they don't fuck around usually!

My mom called me and work and filled me in. It's so surreal. I usually don't talk like this but to say that he will be missed is an understatement.
If it's my world too, then whose gold is this I'm digging out
I'm so sad. I grew up with Michael Jackson's music. I saw him in concert when I was a kid. Front row. My heart almost stopped.
We once had a fun party on a camping trip where the only record we had was Thriller. That party lasted all afternoon and all night and that record never stopped spinning for a minute!
I had a perfect piece of music from Lady (in my life) on my answering machine for a year. I spent 2 hours, trying to get that answering machine recording just right.
Every time I heard She's Out Of My Life when I was little, I used to imagine that the song was bringing the ghost of my dog to play with me until the song was over.
I can still remember the night that the Thriller video was aired for the first time. We put away our cardboard (breakers, that we were) and cleaned up and ate dinner so fucken fast, just to be sure we were going to be in front of that tv without interruption. We turned off all the lights and we were all scared shitless.
I could go on and on.
I hope he's at peace now.

RIP Michael...
It's funny... I'd been singing You Are Not Alone a lot to the kids lately. Josh had a feeling someone important was gonna die. I guess he was right.
I always felt sorry for Michael. As great as he was and as much as he had, he sure had a tough life. Still, I didn't see this coming.

holy crap.....
the vibe says syxx so let it be syxx......
My mom used to get so mad at me cuz I used to put baby powder on the bathroom floor to practice the Moonwalk all the time.
I used to swear up and down that PYT was about me. I was really careful not sing his part when he said, "Say na, na na." I would only sing after he said it cuz he was talking to me. I knew my role. lol
The bassline for Billie Jean is probably my favorite bassline ever. It always gave me chills when they would play it on the radio.
I've only bought my sister one present for her birthday in my entire life: the Off The Wall record. not a good sister at all
My sister almost got kicked out of her ultra-religious Christian school because she was interviewed by the newspaper about going to the Michael Jackson concert. You weren't allowed to listen to that kind of music if you went to that school. My dad brought his lawyers out there and they figured it all out. She probably changed that school forever.
I'm so sad. They are playing his videos all over the tv and it is giving me good flashbacks.
If this had happened before that Chandler kid 'round the Dangerous era he'd be worshipped as the second coming forever..
Yesterday the BBC had some woman on (a Madonna biographer) who at one point was trying to defend Madonna's fame on par with MJ's. Sorry but that's just retarded, MJ was a once every twenty years type deal. I was only born in '83 but growing up Michael Jackson was as famous as it got. I remember thinking how lucky Reagan was to meet him, not the other way around.
The Beatles, Elvis & now Michael Jackson
Growing up I always felt MJ and Madonna were on equal footing.
So patience... is nothing...
It's a poor comparison.
Madonna is a warrior for tolerance of women's sexuality and rights to act female (and still demand respect and power).
MJ was a child star-turned-manchild star. He is our eternal child of music and dance.
People found it hard not to criticize the both of them, though.
