    Louis

I just saw what was in the other thread. You, my friend, are in my prayers sir.

(sorry, thought this deserved its own thread)

Thanks all for the kind words. The most stressful thing from her death is the way my cousins (her daughter, sons, and grandchildren) have been acting since the funeral. People show their grief (and guilt) in the strangest ways. I never thought my aunt's death would divide the family the way it has. I guess this was coming for a long time now. My aunt would never have let them getting away with acting the way they have. Oh well.

That may be temporary. When mt grandfather died, we were all really mad at my granny. I don't even remember why, it was all so stupid. We were just really upset about my grandfather dying and we wanted to be angry, I think. It blew over in a few months.

I hope you're right, but I doubt it will play out like that. My aunt's side of the family has been acting up for quite a while now. They are a crew of envious haters. They have talked sh*t on my mom and me, behind our backs of course, for months. Having them mad at us actually makes my life easier. I no longer have to pretend to like them.

That's why I built my own family.

I simply choose to feel sorry for people like that.
I can appreciate your insight, Louis.

You know I actually do feel sorry for them--especially now that their meal ticket's passed away. They mooched off of my aunt for many many years; raiding the little bit of fixed income she did receive. Either that or they didn't come to visit her in the hospital when she was having her health problems. Her golden years were spent worrying herself sick (literally) about a bunch of lazy ingrates. Now all of them are sitting around feeling guilty about the whole thing. It's sad.

I doubt if I could pray enough for them.
