    Old PM Dawn Memory

I know I don't post here much, but I was going through some of my old CD's and I found the single to "I Had No Right" there was a song on there that I loved and have not heard in 10 years called "Its All So Dissapointing". The CD is scratched there and it will not play. I am sure this is something I will never be able to find again either. I am so bummed right now. That is all. I will go back to being a casual observer again.

Everything is good with me. Thank you for asking. I am sorry I messed up the name on that song. The CD I had was in bad BAD shape. I had recieved it at my very first DJ job as a promo copy. That was many moons ago, but I have these Denon DN-D400's that will almost play anything that is not shattered, but no luck. It really did make me sad. That song reminds me of how excited I was to have my first club DJ job.

It's a new chapter in PM Dawn History - PM Dawn having fans email mp3's to each other! (I am so confused at you!)

A DOLLAR? Last one they released was $4! That would make an album somewhere between $40 and $56 (10-14 tracks)!

First of all, that was a "figure of speech" quote from a movie.

Second, singles are still $0.99 on iTunes right? $0.88 on Wal-Mart Music downloads?

I would think the extra penny would be money in the pocket you wouldn't other wise get.

Oh snap! I can't believe I forgot about that song. I have it on cassette single with my hardheaded self. I really need to find a walkman. I love my Cds but I miss my cassettes.

That's from Robo-cop if i'm not mistaken! One of my favorite quotes!
I do not suppose I shall be remembered for anything. But I don't think about my work in those terms. It is just as vulgar to work for the sake of posterity as to work for the sake of money.

OK, I refrained from responding 4 or 5 times now...

I know it is a figure of speech, but in my dry sense of humor, I took your figure of speech and applied it literally.... which, interestingly enough can be done. Yes, you are correct that iTunes does the .99 tunes (basically a dollar), but I was pointing out that PM Dawn decided to take a different route with their last single - another service that let them put it up for $4. If that is their direction, I doubt you will find their stuff on iTunes or WalMart.
Personally, I hope they put out an old fashioned CD... To be honest, I don't even know where my download is... not that it was high quality...

If I am not mistaken, V2 (or whoever now owns the original GeeStreet and V2 recordings) would be the ones to put the old tunes up for sale.... Maybe we can get a bunch of us to ask them to put the entire PM Dawn catalog up on iTunes. That should put money in their pockets as well as PM Dawn's pockets...
    Peace

I wouldn't mind them putting up their entire catalog...

...to include the CD Singles / Maxi Singles.

I want some of those remixes / alternate versions / b-sides I missed out on back in the day.
