ask the player guys or the Flex SDK group
What broke? Is there some sort of cross site scripting thing that the new security model is preventing?

Yeah - we just discovered it this morning....Flex app using mx:webservice from http to a web service on a remote server https can't connect. Only with the very latest player.

As my mother-in-law said when her boyfriend and I were were talking computers, "You need a 76-BLOW."
I just don't end up where think I'm going when I start out.
I was bit by that with one of my apps too. And I knew about the security changes that required it! Blame all the hackers out there who are trying to take over your computer. You should see some of the security things that have had to happen for different products here at adobe.
