Interesting... It ALMOST works. Just sounds a little bit dissonant...

Check this out: they're called the shakers n' bakers and they do contempory fusion versions of shaker vision (or gift) songs (songs from women who were in the middle of a trance/ estatic experience from the early 19th century) http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...ndID=107480336

I haven't died or anything like that, although my computer had it's yearly tick Dan off escapade. I just went to go and see one of my favorite artists last night for the first time, Loudon Wainwright the III. Now this wasn't something he played and being this is 2008 instead of 1978 he looked somewhat different. Still, it was a pleasure to see the man and enjoy his banter. I think you guys will enjoy this song as it has a laugh along part. We all can use a laugh...

I do not suppose I shall be remembered for anything. But I don't think about my work in those terms. It is just as vulgar to work for the sake of posterity as to work for the sake of money.

    Wee-hoo!

Nothing like a title like wee-hoo to grab folks attention. Thought i'd toss this group towards you guys. It's a band from Orlando called Band Marino. I found it at a book store used on the cheap and was pleasently pleased with the entire album. The message is a true-ism as well.

    Enjoy!

    Year Long Disaster....

Sounds like the story of my life at one point in time during my darker days. It's been awhile since i've tossed anything people's way so i thought why not toss out some good ole Rock N Roll.

Year Long Disaster is Daniel Davies, the son of the Kinks Dave Davies. I love his voice as i think he can belt out some lyrics.

Let me know what you guys think on this one...

    Speaking of...

I love the entire album this one came from: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOJqTjGw8I0

With that song being my favorite from the album. I usually skip right past "Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm".

I didn't realize that Ambersunshower's CD is out. Remember the Runnin' Song produced by PM Dawn? I just downloaded the MP3s from the album. It's an interesting listen.

That album's got some great tracks on it...if I remember correctly, Be didn't exactly have the kindest words about her.
I'm not signing this without my lawyer.
