So patience... is nothing...
Sorry I seemed to be there one minute and then disappear. I heard a funny noise and it turned out to be my 5yo puking in the bathroom. In the dark it looked like blood or something all around her mouth - turned out to be the chocolate ice cream from Stone Cold Creamery. Poor thing - when I got there, I managed to get her to lean over the toilet for another heave. It was on the wall, on the floor, in the garbage can, on the carpet on the way into the bathroom... but that was not the worst. She said, "Sorry, Daddy, I vomited on the door." That she did - like a weeping willow or chocolate fountain, it completely covered the bottom half of the door, from the door handle to the bottom, dripping onto the floor into little piles the entire width of the door. And it was all over the floor in the doorway (carpet, of course). 1 1/2 cans of Resolve, several paper towels, one damp cloth, and several Clorox wipes and a full shower later, I just got done cleaning up the mess and her. I HATE vomit!!!! It is good to be able to breathe through my nose again!
Peace
Damn! Hope you're not one of those people who sees people chuck and has to chuck themselves... you'dve been in trouble there!
Never burn your bridges while you're standing on them...
I used to be - and even when the kids were younger I was still pretty bad. As long as I don't have to really get my fingers in it, I am OK. I put Emily in the shower with her PJs on and let the shower clean it off her clothes before I had her take them off... THAT saved me! I have done the chuck for chuckers any times in the past. After 5 years of kids it is getting a bit better... Whoever said you get used to it as a parent is full of crap!
Peace
Shower with the clothes on - have to remember that one!
