    Brian221, PMFan et al.

You guys heading to Cedar Point this year to ride the Maverick? I'm starting to see the advertisements for it. It looks pretty good.

Also, Brian, make sure you put the Voyage at Holiday World on your "must ride" list. It should overtake the #1 woodie in America ranking this year. It ended up #2 last year.

Original plan for us was in July, I think. But if gas hits $4.00, the wife may not want to drive up there... now she is saying we may fly up if gas is up...
    Peace

You bruthas are organized. I love to see that--it's a beautiful thing.

I will be hitting the Point most likely on May 22nd or 23rd after I return from San Diego. I would like to hit Legoland or Seaworld out there in San Diego too. My tentative schedule is as follows:

    May 14-17 Legoland or Seaworld
    May 22ndish Cedar Point
Mid June Busch Gardens Africa (Tampa) or Seaworld
Late June Kennywood Park (as always)
Mid Julyish Busch Gardens Europe (Williamsburg)
    August Park to be determined

Saddest thing about this schedule, if I don't make it to the BGs, I will only be able to add 1 new coaster to my list. That sux.

I hit Seaworld a few weeks ago (Orlando) - the Kraken was a damn fine coaster! And Atlantis was a very thrilling water ride...but that's all it had to offer for thrills.

Yes, Kraken is very similar to "the coaster formerly known as" Batman Nightflight. I believe the ending is different on Batman tho. You can't go wrong with the B&M coasters--Nitro, Raptor, Ragin' Bull--they are all excellent.

I missed Sea World when I was in Orlando two years ago. I traded Universal Studios and Island of Adventure (two WAY OVERPRICED parks) for Sea World. If I go back down this summer (for TechEd) I will check out either Sea World or BG Africa.

Give a holler when you guys come down to Tampa, Wheeljak (DJ) is in Tampa and I am just over the bridge to St Pete. Maybe we can all meet up for a coaster day - or at least lunch or something. Heck, maybe we can get PM Dawn to come back down to St Pete or Tampa for a concert at the same time!
    Peace

I'll be going sometime in mid-June. I haven't seen the Maverick, but I'm excited to wait in line for six hours for Dragster again. But like PMfan said, if gas keeps going up, I might be skipping it this year.

I must have gotten lucky the times I went to ride Dragster--I've never waited in line more than an hour. I've waited for it to open up during my stay there. Force is my fav anyway. Hopefully, the Maverick will make the Force line smaller, since they are so close together.

Maverick is going to be down until sometime in June. I heard they need to replace the zero-G roll for 125 ft of track. So that kills my May trip. I will see them in early June hopefully. Freakin' Intamin! Their rides always have trouble. Cedar Fair needs to learn a lesson and go back to only building B&M coasters (Raptor, Mantis).
