    Wow; I think I flunked. I only got 32 out of 53.

In their list, they forgot Wakanda.

I got 39. I went and looked afterwards, though, and many of the countries that I knew have changed names since I last took a geography class. Silly countries changing their names.

there we go, just right. keep walking...

Wow! That reminds me - I had better start brushing up on geography. Emily is already learning about other countries in school. Heck, she can count to 10 in Swahili! Maybe a globe would be a good investment about now... Anyone have any suggestions for a store with good educational tools?
    Peace

It's probably just because the teacher didn't speak English.

Nah... it is a private, Christian school. They learned it for a folk fair they put on. Lots of songs, traditional food, and dressing up. They learned about Africa, Japan, Mexico, and Germany. We made Bobotie.

    27
    I'd misspelled Sierra Leone.
I kept putting Congo Republic instead of Republic of Congo.

    That could've been 29

They sell these interactive globes, but I'd recommend good old-fashioned learning together. Then she can get smart and you can get smarter. Sometimes, instead of bedtime stories, I'd 'discover' the Time Life Wildlife Fact File notebooks with my son. They were a bitch to create - you have to order 8 pages at a time and keep adding them - but they are great.

    Here are some links:

The A Beka curriculum is excellent and is used in private Christians schools more often than not. I used one of their phonics books to teach my son how to read over one summer. It was amazing.
