Don't tell me that, Tim! I love that show and the characters on it. I will definitely miss it if it doesn't make it another season. And I agree with everyone else here who watched, the first season was great.
    I love the summer months!

Sorry, a show with a serial killer for a hero is where I draw the line.
    Alright
Tap the lightpole and we'll be jammin all night
And ain't nobody callin' the cops
'Cause everybody's here freakin', if they're older they're doin the rock
And every block from all around
Comes runnin' to the park when they hear the sound
And soon the word's spreadin' through our part of town
    "Yo, 40 Park y'all, Jam-On's gettin down"
    Yeah...

You have to see it before you judge.. theres so much more to this show than the setup.. It all is really complicated..its a great show.. I watched 8 episodes in a few days.. and dexter is far from being portrayed as a "hero"

Yeah, I know. Too fukkin creepy! I can't even take the commercials, the mere site of him torturin' these dudes turns my stomach.

I guess it goes back to that whole debate with Hart, I'd rather watch porn any day of the week.

man, i have to concur with hiero about Dexter--one of the absolute best shows i've seen in a long time.. HIGHLY recommended. it definitely is disturbing, but in a much more subtle manner than you'd likely expect. it's a fascinating prospect to have a protagonist who's a complete sociopath, and yet you absolutely can't help but empathize with him and care about his character (a weird paradox as he's ostensibly incapable of feeling real emotion and empathizing with people). even for the faint-hearted, i'd recommend it, it's incredibly well written, witty, funny, challenging, engrossing.. it's everything good TV should be

Nope, I don't believe that I will be bothering to give Dexter a chance.

Hey atma I agree.. the fact that this guy feels no emotions.. the relationship with his girlfriend is really interesting.. it seems like he's becoming more human as this relationship progresses.. and its quite amazing that they wrote a character who is a serial killer..yet you somehow like him.. The backstory of the incident as a child..and his relationship with his foster father is also really well written..and the show is also not as dark as you would think.. the fact that these guy cant feel any emotions and he's going around faking everything for everyone..I mean some of his personal thoughts (voiceovers) are fuckin hilarious.

Killer...... Really though I need a channel and how much have I missed????
I like Heroes. It has a confusing factor that seems to make my multiple personalities all agree they don't know what the hell is happening.
