Bob Dylan and the current state of music...

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060822/en_nm/dylan_dc_2

I especially found this part funny-
Noting the music industry's complaints that illegal downloading means people are getting their music for free, he said, "Well, why not? It ain't worth nothing anyway."
(before Be or anyone else gets mad, he was referring to the quality (or lack of actually) of the music, not the illegality of the download)

there we go, just right. keep walking...

Viva la Vinyl - Down with CDs!!!

Maybe his cd player or stereo is crappy - I hear lots of definition in many CDs - especially several PM Dawn tracks!
    Peace

He's not complaining about the quality of the music, he's complaining about the quality of the sound of the current audio mixing and media technology.

I have to agree with him, music now is MUCH too over compressed and limited. Then on top of that, most people today listen to MP3s and AACs, which are compressed files that have most of the audio bits stripped away.

But, you can't stop the future.
    Alright
Tap the lightpole and we'll be jammin all night
And ain't nobody callin' the cops
'Cause everybody's here freakin', if they're older they're doin the rock
And every block from all around
Comes runnin' to the park when they hear the sound
And soon the word's spreadin' through our part of town
    "Yo, 40 Park y'all, Jam-On's gettin down"
    Yeah...
