    Hey Coz, Be, and DrGiggles...

You guys surviving the heat wave? First Be and Giggles had it in CA, then they brought it home.

I went to the grocery store today, and walking out to the car was brutal. Way to freaking hot. And tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter.

    yuck!

there we go, just right. keep walking...

    My air conditioner broke yesterday.
My boyfriend spends 10 hours a day, 6 days a week working in the sun in Key Largo, building a new road. Gatorade helps. Good sex helps too.

We'll both be dead by the end of the week.

I'm not leaving the house. I've spent yesterday, today, and it looks like tomorrow sitting in front of my ac working.

I've never been happier to live in Newfoundland. Half the time I still have to wear a light jacket when I go out.

Hey! I had a question about that: I heard a rumor that Newfoundland is actually warmer in the winter than much of the American Northeast. Is this true?

Yes it is! Well...I don't know what the average temperature of ost of the Northeast is, but I assume its true. It's pretty warm here in the winter. It never gets below -10C (14F), the average winter temperature in St. John's is 0C (32F).

There is an amazing amount of snow though, so don't think we have it too easy.

I honestly would prefer the snow over the opressive heat. you can do something about being cold, it's hard to do something about being hot.

Me personally, i like the heat and the cold, never been around snow though,
2-5 inches max around these parts.. not enough to make much of a snow man..
I grew up in Florida, so i am use to the heat... as long as there is some shade i am "cool"

if it gets any hotter you wont even need a grill to cook coz....just hold the meat up to the sky and poof!...well done...and if it burns.....you can blame the sky for burning your ribs
