    New Year's eve plans?

Anyone doing anything exciting for New Year's Eve? We've got two little ones and no baby sitter, so we are staying in this year. Seems we only go out every other year - last year we went to a Bare Naked Ladies New Year's Eve concert. It was cool seeing them, but the sound sucked - the engineer(s) should have been shot!
    Peace

We made a trip to Key Largo last night to get some 'real' fireworks since they're illegal in Miami-Dade County.
Saturday, I will light up the block with my bf, my kid, and his friends.
Then, I will go inside, drink a few million green ones, and probably get online and drunk-write, as usual.

We never go out on New Year's Eve. Us party freaks 'round here know that it's bad luck.

Unless some miracle gig pops up all of a sudden, I'll be home as usual with the wife, the TV, the booze and the sounds.
    Alright
Tap the lightpole and we'll be jammin all night
And ain't nobody callin' the cops
'Cause everybody's here freakin', if they're older they're doin the rock
And every block from all around
Comes runnin' to the park when they hear the sound
And soon the word's spreadin' through our part of town
    "Yo, 40 Park y'all, Jam-On's gettin down"
    Yeah...

Usually we just hang with the kids, but this year as they are adults and one teen, we are off for the weekend. Fri. is a yankee ornament party swap, then it's jumping from double bed to double bed. Sounds like a good way to ring in the new one. Oh and we'll visit family too. Looking forward to it very much!

My friend just bought a boat about two months ago, so we're going on a harbor cruise. Should be nice, but friggin' freezing. It's probably get down to the high fifties or low sixties. I love living in So. Cal.
I just don't end up where think I'm going when I start out.

I like it, but I'm from Florida, though. It might get as low as 50's - 60's as well.

I doubt I am going out on Amateur night. I am working the 30th as a doorman. I know of a kegger, so I might hit that up. But staying off the roads is imperative to me(the party is only 6 blocks away though).

It sucks, my good friend moved down to texas for a year. We have made really good memories the last 6-7 years (stripper/booze/etc), but he is down there now, which sucks.

Ummm, yeah. As a matter of fact, I just erased the link this morning because we didn't renew the domain name. It used to be my band's website.

damn I wish I still lived in Atlanta. I just spent New Years at home. How depressing. It's good to see others didn't have fun too. lol
