The Father's letter is for you. His ways are higher than ours. It takes time to grow a seed and bear good fruit. Rebuke the devourer. The battle is the Lord's and He will be victorious.

If that makes me crazy then that's okay.

Crash was excellent. I just watched that last week. Don't think I've seen the others.

The theme of the movie is stereotypes. I thought it was very well done. The locksmith is my favorite character in the movie. Cheadle, Philippi, and Tate had great parts.
    I love the summer months!

must see for all Put that one in Health classes. The kids are watching movies in school, sooo Crash would be a #1 pick.
Crashers is a great chuckle ~ made me think of hunters while watching the flic
    thnx hehe
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0376541/ Closer is one I won't let my kids watch.
The Forgotten was riveting and can't wait to see Julianne Moore's latest flic about the mom with ten kids that write commercial jingles.
Fever Pitch is up there too. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0332047/
Any other great movies not listed here?

Roll bounce looks original and interesting.
Crash was the years best film IMO. The acting alone was flawless.. Intense movie emotionally though it's relentless it doesn't pull any cheap shots for the sole motive of getting you worked up.

The Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. Loved it. Haven't seen the others you listed.

    It's on DVD now.

The Island flopped but I thought it was a splendid summer blockbuster.

The answer to meaning of life, the universe and everything is .....

From the book The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (Didn't make it into the film):
"The infinate improbability drive was discovered by a young janitor that was cleaning up one night after the physicists had gone home. He started thinking that these physicists have made a machine that calculates the probability of the outcome of a given problem... He reasoned that if scientists deemed it virtually impossible for human interstellar travel in a single lifetime because of the vastness of space He would be able to find out how to make it possible by working out just how improbable it was then feeding that equation into the probability generator and then giving it a nice cup of tea.... and sure enough he came up with the infinate improbability drive that lets you embark upon anything infinately improbable. The scientists were of course thrilled and were about to award the young man the highest medal of acclaim for his discovery when they decided that they just really didn't like smart asses."

    Oh, and

"The massive ships were a blasphemy against nature and hung in the sky precisely the way brick's don't."

you know what i wasn't mad at the island either....oh and lets not even discuss closer that imediately went into the best movies i ever saw in my life pileeveryone was so realisticly yet deliciously mean to each other....i got the distinct feeling that it was completely a true story....most of the dialoge sounded like an actual argument...a lot of really bad "i'm goin for the jugular" type of arguements.....

    and oh yeah....

if you did not see war of the worlds...

    go!!!....right now...stop what you're doing and go

tim robins = best supporting actor 2005..FA SHO...fa sho..

Cruise was great in the last sumeria
Anna started out as such a strong character in Closer then yea it was a dialogue of nasty cheating he said she said crap. The mean stuff repulses me, but each to his own. How about that ending with Alice, the stranger, chance encounters and what our attractions pull/push us to/from?
Ewan MacGregor in Big Fish was entertaining http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0319061/

Loved Closer, bought it first chance I had. Clive Owen's character was kickass.

It'd Be interesting to compare the first with the current. Manchurian Candidate is a great one too. Both flics are memorable. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0368008/

Clive Owens is a great actor. Arthur was a keeper! Great tips all.~

Crash was very interesting. I thought the story was more about how peoples lives intersect more than they think. Also, having that moment of absolute clarity when people drop the mask they show to the world and see how things really are.

I WANT to see Roll Bounce. And yes, I do have my quad skates here.

Liked The Forgotten. If you have the DVD, I suggest you watch the alternate ending.

40 Year Old Virgin was fun, though now I want to see The Wedding Crashers even more.

War of the Worlds was great on the special effects but lacking on the Spielberg character development. It just didn't feel like a Spielberg movie to me. Great movie, though, and I recomend you see it.

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy was visually well done. Most people would have to watch it a couple of times to pick up on the British quirkiness. It does get better on additional viewings. Great casting, I thought.

Keeping an eye on Clive Owen from here on - because I'm a fucking caveman - oh, that's the stuff.

    stupid ? time
Was it Cruise's and Speilberg's War of the Worlds or
the other one set as a period piece and put out by Pendragon Pictures?
Not too much fuss over that, lots of funny things like the guys moustache, but overall that flic was a long and enjoyable one. Most of the reviews on IMDB trashed it, but the Walmart special *8 bucks was entertaining.
Then again, I just got to watch School of Rock and that was awesome.
