    Hi, Gang!

WOW! I am glad to be here! I have been a PM Dawn fan from back in the days they broke in on the US charts. In fact, I think I bought the sound track to some movie - Boomerang? - because it had a new single that was not on the stores yet! I remember writing a couple of fan letters, but never heard back - I assumed they were quite busy with the success of the Bliss album...

I Just went on a 4 day cruise on a US Naval destroyer with my brother-in-law (he's the one in the Navy). I met him in Mayport, outside of Jacksonville, FL. The cruise went to Norfolk, VA, where I caught a plane back to Jacksonville. Problem was, I am in St Pete, FL. That's 3 1/2 - 4 hours of driving by myself. So, I grabbed 2 PM Dawn CDs, dropped the top, and headed out, music loud and bass rolling. Did not see the need to take Bliss out of the CD drive for the 4 hours going back...

I went looking to see what ever happened to the group and saw that I missed the FM album as well as more later released stuff. I was hoping to find some outthere somewhere used, but no luck so far... I'll keep looking...

Any way, it is great to be here and I will start looking around...

welcome aboard. I missed some of their later stuff too and have been looking as well. Funny thing is, I stopped in a music store before my 20 hour road trip and found The best of PM Dawn cd there. Since all my old stuff from them is on tape, I bought it and listened. I had forgotten how much I loved their music. It's great stuff. Hope to hear more from you.

Hey, I was tempted to buy the Best of CD on eBay. I have the first 3 ablums (US), but I noticed on the track listing of the Best CD that it includes some remizes. Are they really good remixes? Is it worth getting if you already have other albums?

I got it from a collectors point of view.. nothing else, the individual albums are a much better find.. i think maybe theres a good ways of the wind mix on there..

syxx, thanks for the info on the remixes and additional tracks. I will probably get the CD soon.

BTW, I caught on that So On and So On was cut from reprints of the Bliss Album - are there any other songs that are only available on orginal releases or that were pulled?

If the problem with So On and So On was just sampling/music related, I wonder why they didn't just take the lyrics and put them to a different tune? The words are great and the song is fun, driving beat, bouncy bass, etc. I could see them putting it to a different tune - or at least ripping the samples or what ever the issue was. As talented as they are, I would bet that it would be a player - maybe even chart in today's mix of pop...

I guess I should make up a sig sometime, eh?
