Please help finding a program !!

Im sure one exists but dont know what u would call it, a program 2 make an image made up of hundreds of tiny pix, e.g u see a billboard with elvis face on it made up of about 300 tiny photo pix, e.g where his lips are would be prodominantly red pix, andd the arrangement is worked out by computer..
anyone know where i might find a program 2 do this?

this is relevant 2 pm dawn forum coz i wanna make wallpaper pix of pm dawn with it

Depending on the type of picture it is, sometime you can use Microsoft Paint to pull up the picture and then zoom in 200 or 300% until you get to the pixel level. I believe you may have to convert the picture to a .bmp file before you can change the pixels (dots). Plus, the picture will lose quality and become huge converting to .bmp.

Also, Adobe Photoshop allows you to change the pixels of a picture as well, but it cost some bucks to buy it new. I'd look around before invest that kind of money; there has to be some kind of freeware graphics package that will do the trick. Good luck.
