    things that erk me

ever notice how when you go to turn the water on in the shower, no matter what temp you have setted, the first couple of seconds worth of water that come out is freezing??? you kind of have to expect it after a while...
Does anyone else have daily things that "erk" them??

I must learn to never ever mention any ailment and cover up anything like a cut, allergic reaction when im at work.. two ladies in their late 40's work there and every single possible thing they try to get me putting on a custom remedy .. im all for alternative medicine but these are just over the top, soak your head in tea, put your wrist in porridge , look for a noodle without "insert chemical name here" and they are so enthused bout it i go along with it then when i turn up next time "how did it go, let me see".... kill me..

heehee.. I erk you. You know that cleaning your ears is just really waxing the inside of them right? That q-tip gets that ear canal all nice and shiny, layer after layer. Leading up to greater conductive hearing loss in your older years.I think I only rebel from ear cleaning because my sister was a compulsive ear cleaner when I was younger.

Hmmm... mine would be the sound dogs make when they lick themselves. That'll wake me from a deep sleep.

i don't use q-tips either, however, i do take the time to wipe around the entrance to the ear canal with a wash cloth or something. but hey, whatever works for you. but i live in a college town with a lot of hippies who fail to clean anything, and thats the worst!

No, not double parking. Around here peeps only do that for a short while or they'll get a ticket. I'm talking about people who will see a space big enough for 2 cars and will park smack in the middle, waisting a space. Tha shit drives me up the wall!

I get pissed with stupid drivers who drive two miles an hour in front of me because they're gabbing on the celly. That or when I am driving on a road doing say 55 MPH, and some car is on a side street and waits 'til I get close to the intersection and they decide to pull out in front of me at the last moment. That SUX.

(I guess I have a bit of the Road Rage thing.)
    I love the summer months!

You have reminded me of one thing that irks me...
Being engulfed in a noxious cloud of patchouli!

I get that a lot. There's always someone telling me that I look just like somebody they know. I just hope that my host of doppelgangers are making a good impression on people.

Just once, I'd like to hear somebody say, "You remind me so much of that guy that I sent on an all-expenses paid trip around the world! I'll bet you'd like that too, wouldn't you?"
