This song and "As Dissapointing As Your Mercy Is" started my love of the group.
Only a guess, but it feels like a humble prayer for the goodness/light to overcome the struggles despite the human weaknesses and such. In the video, the light in the hands, hands stretched upward, and the baby symbolize our pure selves. (I think) Lots of humility, spiritual wisdom and grace went into this work. Thanks P.M. Dawn!!!!! Many of your songs move me in so many different ways.

Being So Not for You, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful and thoughtful songs PM Dawn ever released.
