Going for a change of profession

    Hi everyone.

Well I am going into week 2 of my Home Health Aid training, and guess what? I love it! yeah the money's not great, and I'll be wiping some old person's butt, but I plan to also go for Licensing practice Nursing. Wish me luck,I do believe that I have found one of my callings. I will follow the health and anthropology field.

    Good luck Rumi!
    Alright
Tap the lightpole and we'll be jammin all night
And ain't nobody callin' the cops
'Cause everybody's here freakin', if they're older they're doin the rock
And every block from all around
Comes runnin' to the park when they hear the sound
And soon the word's spreadin' through our part of town
    "Yo, 40 Park y'all, Jam-On's gettin down"
    Yeah...

    welcome to the dark side....

Excellent Rumi; great direction to take. Giving a person dignity and care in their final years is not paid monetarily well, but the rewards are intrinsic beyond bucks. Plus you never know what kind of stories you'll be able to listen to. Plus, plus, plus; wtg.
The Father's letter is for you. His ways are higher than ours. It takes time to grow a seed and bear good fruit. Rebuke the devourer. The battle is the Lord's and He will be victorious.

If that makes me crazy then that's okay.
Reverence for the Father and his instructions outweighs all else.
In all directions, love one another give us grace for agreement with Your will.
    Leaving all else behind us.
I love you God; show me the real truth not idols.
Pleading the blood on life and the world all over.
    so be it.

    Thanx Is_It.

My training is almost done and so far I am doing very well, and look forward to going out into the field. Someone mentioned the stories,I think it was Sin Egma. Yes,as someone who was raised by an elderly couple that is one of the things that I enjoy, hearing stories of their youth and lsitening to the wisdom that they have learned.I am one of the few young-uns that still respect the elders. Plus I feel blessed that I am physical and mentally able to care for someone as someone once did for me.

i really enjoy sitting with elderly people, to hear of thier lives and what they've been through. My mom is in healthcare, and fortunatly the nursing home is next door to the hospital. When i go visit my mom, i usually go and say hello to the residents. I feel it is greatly appreciated, because some of thier family never come and visit them.

I like the cranky old people that are rude and try to insult people...they make me laugh and I like saying mean old bastard.
