Saw it Saturday...It was awesome! Too bad PM Dawn didn't make the soundtrack. Oh well...Danny Elfman did a good job with the music People kept telling me it wasn't gonna be good, but I loved it. What do you guys think?

    Brandon,

Well there was the endorsement I was waiting to hear. If you liked it man, being the big Spiderman fanatic that you are, then I have to go see it. I heard that it was pretty accurate to the comic book character. I take it you agree?

Well tru believers..the movie was good..i must say..don't wait..start on the sequel..NOW..don't be like matrix and wait a few years to get the next one out..the next one should be no later than christmas 2003..i mean..that's plenty of time if you dont let any of the people who worked on it get cold and keep going..Hell the people doin Lord of the Rings are working non-stop from the first to the third..keep the momentum dammit.
Something is neither good nor bad but thinking makes it so.

yes, I thought the movie stayed very true to the comic...until most comic-book films. I am definetly seeing it again (and again). Without a doubt my new favortie comic movie. Yes, start the sequel post hast!

    Brandon,

I heard that some of the Spiderman comic book fanatics were upset that they said in the movie his body created the ability to shoot webs. I guess the comics and the animated series had him build web shooting machines that he wore on his wrists. Did you hear this? And if so, what do you think of that?

I too have seen it...and i think that it was good. The story line was decent and of course you have the "love story" in it as well...the only thing that sort of dissapointed me (other than the absence of Tru Believer) was that i was expecting a little more action than there was...but overall i did like this movie and would recommend it to others. And do what i did; i waited until the last showing on a Saturday night, and there was hardly anyone in the theater. Guess no one likes seein a movie at almost midnight... I suggest this because the movie is still selling out showings here during the week. That way you can see it without feeling a little claustrophobic, such as myself...

Yeah, but what high school student would just invent some web-shooters. Sure, he's very good at science and ish, but still...I mean, he wouldn't just think "Hey, i'm a spider-man" without having the webs come out of his wrists, would he? I dunno...At least he didn't hafta worry about runnin' out.
