Here's 1. How do we re-lock the Ask Be forum?
    Alright
Tap the lightpole and we'll be jammin all night
And ain't nobody callin' the cops
'Cause everybody's here freakin', if they're older they're doin the rock
And every block from all around
Comes runnin' to the park when they hear the sound
And soon the word's spreadin' through our part of town
    "Yo, 40 Park y'all, Jam-On's gettin down"
    Yeah...

    do you not see mine?

go here to your profile options http://www.pmdawnonline.com/forum/pr...do=editoptions

and scroll down till you see the thread display options, you probably need to to check the 3 boxes...I'm trying to figure out how to turn that on for everyone automaticly.

also under the link hax posted above you may all want to tick the boxes to allow admin emails and PRIVATE MESSAGES! i know a lot of people use that so just thought you might like to know you are blocking it unless its ticked

"The administrator may also have enabled custom avatars, which allows you to upload an avatar image from your computer."

Hey, Hax -- are custom avatars enabled? All I get is a list of nine PM Dawn userpics to use. I've added a general picture to my profile, but that seems to be a different situation.

I don't see the choice you're referring to there. When I look at the avatar options section, I see the screen I've included a partial shot of below.

It looks like you, Coz and Brian221 -- who all also have customized titles -- have non-standard avatars. I haven't been over much of the rest of the new forum yet, but could this be something that's only on for moderators or others who have special access to the forum? If so, is it possible to give the rest of us poor souls a teeny bit of such access just for userpics?

Yes, it is -- thank you, Hax!

And I just noticed that I can also change my title. Either I didn't notice it before or you get extra thanks for that, as well!

Is anyone else having a problem with looking at a post, leaving the site, then coming back and the same post you read still saying that you haven't read it yet with no new post there. Or is that just me? Is there anyway to get around that without hitting the mark all posts read link?

no clue why it does this, I think it's caching something on the server to cause it to think you didn't read the posts yet...working on it...

Right now, if you refresh WITHIN a forum after reading the articles, they go away. Then if you refresh on the index, it will reflect if you've read everything in the forums.
