    My great grandmother passed away last night. Please pray for me and my family. Everyone has that person in your family that holds you all together, that rock, the foundation, and momma was our center. Unfortunately school and work does not stop for anything and I have finals in 3 weeks. This is going to be tough.

    Tonya
Don't let them change you inside, cause anyone who matters will try to understand who you are.

When you always stay in self-incarceration...I think it's such a shame.

    Alright
Tap the lightpole and we'll be jammin all night
And ain't nobody callin' the cops
'Cause everybody's here freakin', if they're older they're doin the rock
And every block from all around
Comes runnin' to the park when they hear the sound
And soon the word's spreadin' through our part of town
    "Yo, 40 Park y'all, Jam-On's gettin down"

Funeral is Friday, I'm headed home to VA tomorrow morning.

Thanking you for your prayers again; believe me they have been felt and have helped. Like I said life still goes on, especially school, so last night I had to go to the courthouse to argue an appeal in front of three judges and they put me through the ringer (seriously at one point I thought I was going to burst into tears; but I maintained and presented my arguments and answered their questions as best I could); however when it was all done they said I was the best state's attorney they had heard that evening and I was even offered an internship by one of them...if they only knew the weight I was carrying on my shoulders :happysad: . Like I said thank you for your thoughts and prayers, they have really helped.

Sorry to hear about your loss Tonya... I always enjoy having someone around thats much older, because they are just full of so much knowledge and wisdom...and could sit down and just share so much of our ancestry and their upbringing as the last of their generation.. thats something to truly hold on to...

Be blessed, its sad but as your heart heals, Im most positive you will be able 2 look back with alot of loving memories that will always keep her near in spirit...in such a way to keep you motivated, and know that shes always proud of you...

my condolences to you and your family...

    peace
