Wouldn’t this be more inclined for the area, being "although darker colored skin was most definitely prevalent" then you are going to see more of the majority doing most of the things? Say here for example we have the same type jobs here (servers) in a mostly white town. But a growing population of others. I see the mix about the same mostly white and a few other skins. So isn’t it just relevant? If you was to have a convention at our convention center here you would get all whites and a few other skins.
it maybe just me that thinks this but who knows! I have allways been taught people matter not skin so race is the one of the things i think of last.
That was why it felt weird, honestly. There were 2000 white people being served by 100 or so black people. That was the weird part. In a normal setting it wouldn't have been uncomfortable becaue the ratio would have been correct for the city. This was a convention, however.
