Being a Cavs fan you can best bet i've been ticked these last few days. For a man who is supposed to be a man of character this really stunk to happen at all but least of all to my snake-bit town of Cleveland.
Here's the deal. The Cavaliers let Boozer out of a deal one year earlier because Boozer wanted to get paid this year. It happened because the Cavs owner Gordon Gund really respected Boozer as a man and a player. THey had a verbal deal which said basically he would sign with Cleveland for a certain amount. Then a few days later he and his agent are out "checking for deals". He ultimately ends up signing an offer sheet w/ the Utah Jazz which is supposed to pay him 68 million. The Cavs cannot match that without dismantling there team....
Needless to say Boozer has gotten a whole buttload of junk about all of this. His agent even quit as his agent. It just stunk to see something like this go down. I guess Money Talks. What happened to anyone with morals or ethics? A damn shame......
