Colonoscopy! Whoa!!!! Be strong! That is the BAD one. I suggest you get some GOOD Wifey time before then.... You know, sometimes they have to inflate the colon with CO2 in order to get a good examination. They lookin' for anything specific?

Man, I think that muthafukkin doctor's just tryin to milk my HMO. I went there because of pain, discomfort and bleeding. I figured it was hemorroids, he figured it was hemerroids, he found hemerroids, but he still wants to do that bullshit. Hell, even 1 of his aids said she wouldn't do it! :madrant:

That is actually the stated course of diagnosis.
Even if the Doc finds Hemmorhoids, there may be more serious
underlying problems. Diverticulitis, is REAL bad. if you hemorrhage,
you could end up with peritonitis, and surgery.
Melena, is something that requires immediate attention.
I may be of some help here... I can't perform the procedure,
but if you care to send me the results of your last check, I can give you an Idea of whether or not your Dr. is "padding the bill."

Melena is blood in the stool. Diverticulitis is an ulcer in the colon.
Peritonitis is an infection of the lining surrounding the viscera ( guts)
Polyps are just growths in the intestine. like internal moles.
