I will tell ya'll what up now. I have 6 of my 8 final 8 teams remaining and all of my final 4 teams left. That is real good now that 2 number 1 seeds are gone. But anyways, I know the fickle nature of the tournament.

Anyways, I said Illinois would lose round 1, oops. About their next game, cheif I am rooting for you overall, but my bracket is a close second... I need em to lose... ha ha, but its all good. I am having a super tournament, especially if GT makes it further, their path is safe, no harm in immediate striking distance, so I am happy...

My team for all of your info is Creighton. The campus is about 2 miles from my house. My brother graduated from there a few years back. We went to Chicago that weekend to watch CU play. They were a 12 seed and they played Florida in round one. So there I was, in Chi-town for the first time... in the same building that MJ played and hit so many game winning shots in... man I was loving it! If any of you remember that game, it was close throughout and it went into overtime. Well that game had the only buzzer-beater of the first round that year - Terrell Taylor (who had a huge Jordan tatoo on his shoulder - he was also a prick, but that is another story...) but he busted a 28ft 3-pointer as the time was waining and I went crazy nuts. I don't go to CU but I was on the front page of their paper because we all rushed the court... it was frikkin' awesome. But my bro had to work the next day so we couldn't stay for the next game in 2 days. I am telling you we had tickets for both games in the 2nd row... its too bad we couldn't stay but that year Illinois was the 4th seed and playing in their state, so it was a psuedo-blowout.

Anyways, it was cool while it lasted.

Anyways go GT! (I have liked them since 1991, in case anyone wonders- I am not a bandwagon jumper-on'er). Its NU, CU and GT for me... of course Pitt is a clear and somewhat distant 4th.
