    what are the best programs for recording vocals?
    I've got amnesia.. I can't remember..

    it doesn't matter much honestly, though it depends on what exactly you're doing. i'd probably just use cubase sx if you want to play back tracks while recording. more important than what program is really what soundcard you're using, what mic, and what preamp or mixer is powering that mic, and the space you're actually recording in (how noisy it is, the room reverb characteristics, etc.)
