Hey sdl, I got the Rufus Wainwright CD. It's pretty darn good. Maybe not as good as Poses but worth it.
I just don't end up where think I'm going when I start out.

Yeah, when I first played it, I wondered if I would play it anymore... and after a few listens... Its amazing.. Just about every song has more layers than a usual song.. the strings are great, and his voice is top notch.. This is a given that this will be one of the best noted albums of 2003.. its got too good of a production on too good of a artist.. I heard rumors of him releasing a "Want two"

sounds interesting.. this cd is a top notch production...

I just saw him in concert in Charlottesville, VA (my current place of residence) on Friday. He is AMAZING in concert, and Want Two is definitely more than a rumor. It'll be released in six months. It's going to contain more of his experimental songs, because he "want[s] Want One in Wal-Mart". I wasn't too big on Want One after a first listen, really only liking a few songs the first go-round. After the concert, though, I realized that there were so many more layers to almost every song on the album. I've currently got it on repeat in my CD player and have listened to it for the last 12 hours straight. But then again, I tend to play things to death when I like them (just ask my roommates when it comes to my PM Dawn albums )
