I'd just like to point out something that maybe some of the fam here just duzn't seem to get.
Almost all of the regulars here get ragged on, and in turn rag right back. Let's review, shall we?
I, for 1, am the old senile crotchety guy. I'm also always uptight about something, always gotta be right, big know it all, etc. etc. etc. Oh, don't forget that I'm the fat lazy black militant racist pervert with the huge ass, a camo hat and unpainted steps! Plus a hip hop has been! Did I mention I was old? :rofl:
Chief is the cross burning, farm animal raping, gun toting, clock tower sniping redneck.
Hax is the computer geek wanna be pimp nerd...perhaps he duzn't get ragged on as much since he has all the power. :bowdown:
Hero is the horsedog believing porn addict from Oz (yes, being from Oz can be seen as an insult to some people :rofl: ).
Elle is the little virgin runt kid that's scared of chix. Sort of the forum Charlie Brown.
Syxx...well, Syxx is Syxx! :laugh: He's also the forum openly gay guy...which opens him up to be called homo, queer, faggot, queen, etc. etc....and he's NEVER taken offense because he know's that he's both loved and respected here.In fact, he's called himself these things from time to time.
FrEk is our malnutritioned goth pedophile who likes to screw dead chix.
FD is our resident Limey fat kid. We rag on his country even more than we rag on him, but he dishes with the best of us.
I'm not even gonna go on, though anybody who'd like to add to the list please be my guest. All I'm sayin here is that MOST of us have a sense of humor, both about others AND OURSELVES!
For the record, what happened with Rumi HAD NOTHING TO DO with anybody saying that either she or anybody else was crazy.
What happened was that she got upset with the responses to her 9-11 poem from me, Chief and Hero. She took perhaps the most sensitive and emotional topic of all of our lives and said that she didn't care about it, which is fine. However, she partially based her reason for not caring on a false statement, which we called her out on. I called her a lemming because of it, which as you all know I have called almost all of you before for sitting back and not caring about or even considering what is going on in the world around you. Chief told her "F U and the horse you rode in on", a sentiment that I understand coming from someone who loves and has fought for his country, after hearing someone espouse anti-American rhetoric and claiming that they don't care about 9-11.
Now, I'm not sure what in particular set her off, but she was welcome to discuss it with us, curse us out, ignore us...any of that was her perogative.
Instead, what she did was ATTACK THE FORUM! She flooded it with post after post of some stupid link that made no sense at all! THAT'S WHAT GOT HER BANNED!!! It was totally Hax's idea without any input from anybody else (that I'm aware of), he simply saw that the forum was under attack and eliminated the problem. THAT IS THE ONLY REASON THAT SHE WAS BANNED!!!
Also for the record, I happen to like Rumi alot! Many if not most of her world views actually mirror mine. Our major differences seem to be that 1> I love MY country, and 2> I value FACT over RHETORIC!
As for the "crazy" label, most of you know that when Stan 1st came here and peeps were a little taken aback, I was 1 of the 1st to defend him. I think that a little crazy really livens up this place, whether it be from Stan, Tinker, Filmwiz, Rumi, Amen or anybody else for that matter...INCLUDING MYSELF!!!
So let's not create drama where there shouldn't be any, it's still all love here...AS IT SHOULD BE!
