Does anyone know if an instrumental for "ain't no sunshine when she's gone" exists? If i have to buy a single or something, i will...i really want it.

I dinnae know about any instrumental. But I thought Bill Withers did that song. Unless one of them covered it. :donno: :donno:
Yep, Bill Withers. I don't remember Al doing a version. And no, no instrumental that I know of.
Alright
Tap the lightpole and we'll be jammin all night
And ain't nobody callin' the cops
'Cause everybody's here freakin', if they're older they're doin the rock
And every block from all around
Comes runnin' to the park when they hear the sound
And soon the word's spreadin' through our part of town
"Yo, 40 Park y'all, Jam-On's gettin down"
Yeah...

Okay, now maybe I'm old and senile, but that list just doesn't ring quite true.
I never heard Al do "Always And Forever" (Heatwave) or "Lean On Me" (Bill Withers) either.
The real name of "Lay Your Head On My Pillow" is "For The Good Times", so I KNOW that's wrong!
I've never heard of "Let's Get Together", though I do know that 1 of Al's biggest hits was "Let's Stay Together".
Don't know "I'm So In Love With You" either, though I do know Al's huge hit "I'm Still In Love With You".
"Everything Is Gonna Be Alright" should NOT be on any Al Green's greatest hits list, though "Love And Happiness", "Tired Of Being Alone" and "You Ought To Be With Me" definitely SHOULD!
Finally, "Here I Am Baby" might just be Al's "Here I Am (Come and Take Me)", but I wouldn't be suprised if it's actually Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours".
I'm not completely sure kid, but I think you're being bamboozled. I wouldn't borrow Mommy's credit card just yet if I were you!
And you're supposed to be a DJ too...LEARN YOUR CRAFT SON!!!

ya, i'm guessing you want an instrumental version to sample, why dont you just sample the instrumental sections from the track that you like already?
Haha, thanks, coz. That's why i was confused. Just wanted to get everything straight.
and atma: i don't wanna sample it. i just like the music and i want to hear it without the lyrics (not that i don't like the lyrics).
Sorry Elle, I think you're SOL on both the Bill Withers cut and any of the Al Green stuff as far as instrumentals go. They didn't do that on singles back then. Maybe your only shot would be to find a karaoke version.
