Bush and the shoe-thrower

I gotta give the devil his due-- Dubya totally matrixed that first shoe that the Iraqi guy threw at him. Of course, if that had been Obama standing in his place, he woulda caught it with one hand and said, "Nice shoe. Now, if you sit down and chill, I'll give it back when the conference is over."

Look at Iraqi PM al-Maliki's complete lack of reaction to the first shoe, and his lethargic attempt to bat away the second. I'll bet he never gets picked to play goalie when he and his friends play soccer.

There is something about this video (and I've watch it about 50 times) that makes me laugh. I think it's funny how Bush gets out of the way of the first one.

I love that Bush laughs about it... isn't that like one of the worst insults over there? But you know what would have been better - if it had connected.

That would be some funny shit.
