Interesting...and you're right.
And it makes no sense to have the "best of..." album cover. They didn't even bother showing "...The Utopian Experience" album cover.
Here's the link to the label: http://www.sheridansquaremusic.com/
P.M. Dawn isn't even listed on the website.
I'm interested in Be and Giggle's take on this.
That's some bullshit. I bet They ain't gettin a dime from this.
that ...and be is gonna cringe when he finds out "shake" made it on a best of.....
shake..shake and fries....:P
i don't understand the front cover... or the tracklisting.
I think they bought V2's catalog (or fully V2). So basically, they are the holders of the recorded music (GeeStreet/Island/V2 and now Sheridan Square Entertainment).
This is on their web site:
So, it is just like V2 (or whomever it was) when they put out the Best Of... cd.Quote:

Sheridan Square Music is an important resource, for both large and small companies, offering new music from such major front-line artists.
those songs don't seem to flow together right. it looks as they took the major hits and just randomly chose songs.. and forgot their last album.
no thought was put into that
Listen to the sample "A Watcher's Point Of View (Don't 'Cha Think) (original album version)"
they emphasized album version.. it's the remix!!
:wtf:
I bet they are just trying to make a buck on old catalog collections they now have... Not pushing it from an artist's perspective, but a pure marketing (squeeze some money out of these things sitting on the shelf) perspective. Sad...
Anyone going to post comment on this item on Amazon.com's website? Give people the truth about what they might be purchasing?
thats crazy. yeah the bit is like a club mix. i'm sure they aren't happy about it....
