Practically all of the other characters on the show have passed. Ivan Dixon (Kinchloe) and Patricia Crane (Frualine Hilda) died in 2008 and 2007, respectively. Leon Askin (General Burkhalter) and Larry Hovis (Carter) died in 2003. Warner Klemperer died in 2000. John Banner (Schultz) and Bob Crane were among the first two to die from the cast in 1973 and 1978, respectively.
Rumor had it that Bob Crane was making private sex films with various women. He was murder in a hotel room and the murderer was never caught.
