Well, unfortunately, there was no inviting you guys to the wedding. First of all, no one here has invited me to their wedding, so stick that in your crack pipes and smoke it. And secondly, his parents are all society pages and wanted their 300 closest friends there, so we already had a fight to get the list down to 150 people when we only wanted to spend $10K on the whole thing (which I totally managed to pull off, thank-you-very-much, by doing a mere cocktail reception in the temple hall) so that way we could turn a profit on the whole affair and he could leave his Dad's law firm and start his own. So if you wanted to come all the way out from the Midwest for a two hour cocktail reception...well, you're nuts! (although the ceremony was over an hour and was probably one of the most beautiful ones on record, so THAT was really fucking awesome, except it was all in Hebrew so...)
